I am studying Paper Science and Engineering with a dual degree in Chemical Engineering at North Carolina State University. I am currently doing my Junior year of study abroad with one semester in Finland (Fall 2011) and one semester in Germany (Spring/Summer 2012). I have had an internship with GAF-Elk in the summer of 2010 where I conducted COA's, a few line studies, and a pilot line test. During my sophmore year I was a Resident Advisor for NCSU and helped acclimate students to university life. I have been involved with the Parkour and Freerunning club, TAPPI, Ski and Snowboard club and was the President of Wood Hall freshman year.
I helped incoming students get acclimated with University life and aided them in finding resources that could improve their academic performance. I also introduced them to clubs, organizations and other groups on campus.
I conducted COA's, studies on problems in the line and a pilot line study and analysis. I was also responsible for updating the P&ID of the white water and binder systems.
